About

Ke Zhong is a Ph.D. student studying Materials Science and Engineering at CMU. She is being advised by Lining Yao in HCI and Mohammad Islam in the Materials Science and Engineering department. In her current project, she works on the development of intelligent materials systems that can self-fuse and self-assemble. She hopes to solve problems in the interdisciplinary areas of Materials science and engineering and Human-Computer Interaction.

Ke received her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at the Southern University of Science and Technology in China. She was an exchange student in Mechanical Engineering at MIT during her undergraduate.

Ke is a tennis lover, a member of the CMU club tennis team.
