About

Yuran attends Carnegie Mellon University in her undergrad, and studies Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction with a focus on perception and interaction design.

Her research interests include haptics, fabrication, wearables, and tangible interfaces. Her high-level research goal is to understand opportunities in human perceptions and leverage that knowledge to design and create expressive interactive physical interfaces that facilitate meaningful interaction and integration with humans.

When she is free, she does art, expands her collection of weird (and cool) projects, and plays with lego.
