About

Semina Yi is a graduate student studying interaction design at CMU, focusing on tangible and multimodal interaction. She is interested in developing interactive experiences that utilize physical sensation, bridging the gap between material and nonmaterial environments. By doing so, she hopes to encourage the responsible incorporation of technology into everyday life.

Prior to joining CMU, Semina was a senior product designer at Kikkerland Design in NYC. Outside of design, she finds pleasure in practicing ikebana and wandering with her furry companion in nature.
