E-seed and Sustainflatable presented at the V&A Dundee in Scotland
Self-burying seeds and a self-sustaining garden powered by Nature from Morphing Matter Lab were presented as a part of the exhibition, Garden Futures: Designing with Nature.
17 May. 2025 - 25 Jan. 2026 (10 am - 5 pm) V&A Dundee 1 Riverside Esplanade, Dundee, DD1 4EZ, U.K. Garden Futures: Designing with Nature
Garden Futures: Designing with Nature, presented at V&A Dundee, Scotland, explores how gardens reflect the ways we live, think, and connect with the natural world. Through a multidisciplinary lens of design, art, and technology, the exhibition traces how gardens have evolved from private sanctuaries to public laboratories for sustainability, creativity, and social change. It highlights how green spaces shape our daily lives, from the food we grow to the communities we build, and how they can offer refuge, resilience, and renewal in times of environmental and cultural transformation.
E-seed and Sustainflatable are part of the exhibition, envisioning self-sustaining ecosystems where seeds plant themselves and gardens are powered by sun, rain, and wind, offering a glimpse into a future where design and nature work in harmony to nurture growth and care.
