About
Tucker Rae-Grant is a Research Associate in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute working with both Prof. Lining Yao in Morphing Matter Lab as well as Prof. Chris Harrison in the Future Interfaces Group. He is interested in the process of prototyping new technologies and in encoding information and programming into bio-inspired materials and structures.
Before joining HCII, Tucker was a co-founder at a hardware startup creating sustainable tools for the film and TV industry. His background is in art and maker education. He received his BA from Yale University and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from the University of Chicago.
